Spybot won't run on startup

I recently ran Spybot Search & Destroy on my Windows 7 laptop.
After cleaning some spyware it found, it asked if I wanted to run Spybot on the next startup of my laptop to remove a remaining piece of spyware.
On reboot, Spybot never ran.
I then went into the Spybot settings and under "System Start", I selected "Run Program Once at Next Startup".
Again, I rebooted and Spybot never ran.
I would appreciate some advice on trying to fix this issue.Thanks

Try rightclicking the Spybot icon on your desktop and selecting run as administrator before going back into Settings to set it up to run once on Startup.

Running spybot as an admin allowed to it thoroughly clean, no reboot needed.
Thanks. Still though Spybot never runs on startup when I set it to.

Glad running the scan as admin cleared the need for a reboot.
Did you also run as admin when changing the Settings?Please see here for more on that:
