Spybot won't run

Hello, Thanks for having this great support forum.

Spybot S&D was running fine until I was attacked. I ran it after I was attacked once and it detected 108 entries. The next time I tried to run it, it wouldn't run. All I get after I doubleclik the desktop icon is a flash of the hourglass.

I have already uninstalled and reinstalled it twice following the directions I found in another thread, to no avail.

I have downloaded and installed Hijackthis and it wont run either. Same symptom, just a flash of the hourglass when I doubleclick the desktop icon.

My computer is still infected. I'm running Windows XP and Spybot 1.6

You could ask for help in malware removal.

You'll have to tell them about not being able to run Spybot or Hijackthis.
