Spybot1.6.2-99% cpu usage

Hiya :)

XP pro, Athlon XP 2600+ (running 1900 MHz), Spybot 1.6.2 - latest Updates 27. Jan 2010.

Prob:
Since updates spybot I get 99% cpu-usage while running spybot.
Never experienced this before.
How come :confused:

Hello,

Do you run any other security software?
When the computer is running for a long time without a standby, reboot, or shutdown memory consumption of a (refers to any) can slightly increase.
I would suggest you reboot and see how it goes.

Hiya :)

sorry for the delay - wasn't home for some time.

The high cpu-usage starts right after clicking "hide now" (tip / msg).
So this is probably 'normal'.
