SQLITE3.DLL missing ?????

Ever since I allowed the update to 1.6, Spybot won't run and gives the error message of not finding SQLITE3.DLL.

I have searched these forms about this dll and can't find anything about this file or this problem; but them maybe I just don't know how to use the forum tools. I have never found it easy to communicate with anyone in the Spybot web site; its totally confusing.

Can anybody help me with this missing file, because right now it seems like Spybot is not running and that's scary

The following dll should be included as part of Spybot 1.6:
  • C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\sqlite3.dll
If that file is not present, I suggest that you uninstall and reinstall Spybot 1.6 from a fresh download from one of the mirror sites listed here:
