Strange Files during Scan

Hi everyone, I'm relatively new to the whole Spybot S&D thing. While running a scan i looked at the files that it was scanning at the bottom of the screen. It came up with some odd names that i knew nothing about that didn't com up on the search results - they didn't come up on AVG either. Some examples of the names were "Purity Scan", "Jupilites", "Smitfraud-C" and "Perfect Key Logger". I have come to the conclusion that they are either on my computer somewhere or that these are the files that Spybot is searching for to check whether they are on my computer. As im pretty new to all this i don't actually know!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks all,

Monkey Boy:

During the running of a Spybot scan ("Check for problems") the status bar in the lower left hand corner of the screen shows the following:
  • "Running bot-check(xxxxx/yyyyy:zzzzzz)" where:
    • xxxxx = Current check count.
    • yyyyy = Total check count.
    • zzzzz = Malware check being performed.

  • The zzzzz value is not what is on your system, it is the name of the malware check being performed by Spybot.
