In the Malware Removal forum you cannot edit at all.
In the other forums you should be able to edit the title of the thread for 5 minutes and the post itself for 15 minutes.

Hello.
There is always the possibility a helper may be composing fixes based on the original post, thus members do not have the option to edit their posts in the malware removal forum.
That helper may be composing off-line and not hanging in the topic. There are various scenerios, with the removal of malware being conducted in as safe a manner as possible, being number one.
Posters can review before clicking reply, or add any necessary information in a follow-up.
15 minutes should be ample time to edit a post in the Spybot-S&D product support forum.
