I bought the home edition with life protection and all today and I am very surprised that SB did not find one of the test viruses it is from http://meineipadresse.de/html/testvirus.php
Live Protection should detect the Eicar testfile. It did in our tests, anyway. What did you exactly do to determine Spybot did not find the testfile? Please state your system stats and give some steps to reproduce this. Thank you.
