The antivirus update failed to download files!

Hello,

I am not getting the AV updates to download. I'm running Windows 10 and Spybot S&D +AV 2.5 Home edition. I hit 'update' and it runs for a minute or so and I get this:

An error occurred during antivirus updates!

[00:16.973] Updating Plugins/emalware.122...
[00:20.655] [-] Failed to download updated Spybot 2 antivirus signatures!
[00:20.655] [-] The antivirus update failed to download files!

Spybot S&D +AV 2.5 Home Premium edition

I think I've tried just about all the "fixes" that I could find on the FAQ and Forum

Asked for help from "Support" yesterday -- buy no reply

At least I now know that I am not the only one that has this problem

I'm running W10, installed 20.08.2015 & uploaded the SpyBot fix for transition to the W10 version 2.5... The antivirus update failed to download files! I contacted spybot support at 0951 Friday 21st August WST (0251 GMT) after many attempts to complete the updates but finally gave up, that gave SpyBot a WHOLE working day+ to acknowledge my contact (ticket # issue) & here I am without a reliable AV system at 0905 Sunday 23rd August WST (0205 GMT) STILL with no contact & STILL unable to download any AV updates or to scan my system...

My system Is basically unprotected because I can't do a (FIRST) system scan as "SpyBot update" has failed to download many DATA BASE signatures (or whatever) & it wont allow me to enter the scan mode, just directs me to the update mode & the "ball rolls on"... What have I paid for, certainly not service that's for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
