The Boaxxe Trojan

Does SpyBot detect the Boaxxe Trojan? It is embedded into my laptop and nothing seems to be working right now to get it out. I learned that the Trojan sets itself up in the Registry and

Just D/L'd SpyBot 1.5.2.20 and began a search, but it did not find the Boaxxe Trojan. Meanwhile, McAfee showed a popup stating that it was suppressed and I am still trying to figure out how to get rid of it.

current version of Spybot is 1.6 where did you "just get" 1.5?

if you are unable to get rid of the infection:

If you are running Spybot latest version (1.6.0.30) and it still fails to correct the problem, consider posting in the Malware Removal forum and having someone take a look at your system.

If you decide to have an experienced malware removal specialist assist you, please follow the procedure in this link to run scans and produce a HijackThis log:

* "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance).

After you have completed the required scans and produced the requested logs, start your own thread in the Malware Removal forum, making sure to post the HijackThis log produced from the above instructions.
