The Shield Deluxe 2008

Does anyone else use the shield deluxe 2008? I could use some advice on fine tuning it. I have heard many good things about Kaspersky technology and supposedly this tool is built on top of Kaspersky technology. However, the tool itself exhibits really bad performance characteristics. There customer support is not too helpful either. I'm beginning to think that it was a waste of 30 bucks. Seemed like a good deal because I am tired of paying 40-50 bucks a year to renew norton protection. Maybe norton wasn't so bad afterall.

I'm currently dealing with the virtuemond issue so I am using the free online kaspersky scanner to see how that works.

Hello.

I'm currently dealing with the virtuemond issue so I am using the free online kaspersky scanner to see how that works.

There may be other infections on the machine and as you are already using the Kaspersky scanner, which is in our procedure here: "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance) why not post the results and the HJT log in our Malware Removal Forum so someone can take a look at the system and advise you.
