there is no special recommendation how to use it. Spybot-S&D is desgined in a way so that everyone can use it.
If you do not want to risk anything you should choose the default/simple mode. Here you have the main functions like scan, update, recovery.
The "mode" can be chosen in the main menu above.
In the "advanced mode" you will find many more useful features and settings aso which can help you set Spybot-S&D to your requirements. Try them out carefully if you wish to and so you should be able to learn how to use Spybot-S&D best. :bigthumb:
