Please describe what happens when the computer boots up.

The computer boots up normally. Though no exe files open up. All my programs turned into torrent files, and when i try to open up a file it tells me a message saying this torrent is corrupt. (I do not have the computer in front of me now so this is not the exact wording) I cannot restore. All programs are not starting.
