Trouble with shutting down Spybot S&D

I was running a scan and clicked on the help button to look up some terms, when I was trying to get to another term -- It froze and then it wouldn't shut down. The same thing happened when I tried to close down Spybot, after it completed the scan. It found no cookies or anything else on my computer. I ended up having to go shut it down manually, via task manager.

What can I do to fix this problem?

Btw, I'm new here -- so be kind :flowers:.
