um i have an old problem

i have a windows 98 computer and an virus keeps popping up saying you maybe infected and when i click on it it sends to this website which doesnt help what should i do to get rid of the icon on my taskbar

However you need to know many helpers are reluctant to spend their volunteer time on a Windows 98 machine, as it is no longer a supported Operating System and therefore cannot be updated or patched.
