I downloaded and installed SPYBOT Pro on my wives laptop and activated immunization. Cannot access the internet now and when I run the windows troubleshooter it says a firewall maybe blocking access. The laptop is running Windows XP and was recently updated.
Open Spybot start center,checkmark advanced mode,then click settings,and then the Internet protection tab.If Use Spybot proxy is checkmarked,try unchecking it,then click Apply,and then Ok.
If she is able to access the internet after that(if the above applies),then updates should be downloaded before she runs her first system scan,by clicking Update,then clicking the Update button at the top.
