Your Web browser would be the software you are accessing surfing the internet with (i.e. Internet Explorer 6 (IE6), IE7, Firefox 2, Firefox 3, Opera, NetScape, etc.).
The site you are trying to access would the Domain name or URL of your bank (i.e. www.bankofamerica.com, www.suntrust.com, www.pnc.com, www.wachovia.com, etc.).
ps: I don't want to know any personal information like account numbers or passwords, but in order to help you I must know the bank that your are unable to access.
My web browser is Microsoft Internet Explorer. My problem is with my e-mail account. When I signed on for this spybot website and you e-mailed me back I could not get to your website by clicking on to the address you sent me. It is the same way with my bank,I cannot access my checking account through my e-mail by clicking on their address that they send me.
What happens if you copy the addess this site (not me) sent you in the email and paste that into the address bar of Internet Explorer?
Can you access the address that way? If so that would indicate that your e-mail (again I don't know what software you are using) has http links disabled. That is usually a user option that can be enabled.
