Uninstalling Spybot...

I had adware up the $#* before using Spybot! It did a great job! My question is, my virus program needs to be updated, and its asking me to uninstall Spybot before updates can be installed. I use Trend Micro PC cillin. Can I uninstall spybot without loosing important changes that Spybot made? Need a reply quickly! Trend Micro has uninstalled my old version to make room for the new updated one. ~~I'm naked without my virus program. Scared!!! Adware!!! Spyware!!! Oh my, oh my!! :hair:

Your antivirus program told you to uninstall spybot? There should not be any conflict, as other users have not had a problem running both software side by side. I say update your antivirus anyway, and only uninstall spybot if you have problems. Should you uninstall spybot, the threats that are removed from your computer from spybot will not be recovered if you uninstall it. The threats will stay removed if you remove spybot. (Unless you get infected again of course.) Hope that helps you. :bigthumb:
