Unistalling Sbybot

Hi there!

I have been trying to uninstall the Spybot and keep getting an message, unins.dat does not exist. I am a bit of a novice can anyone help!

I have tried to download the Norton Internet Security 2006 but the Spybot is conflicting this.

Also, I first tried to install the Systems Works and kept getting a message "Other programs on your computer are causing excessive disk activity which is preventing Norton Go back from installing" I clicked the link to rectify this about closing unecessary programs running in the background, but it didn't help. Pleas can anyone advise!

As a general rule of thumb – if you reinstall a program over the existing one it will recreate the unins000.DAT and unins000.exe files and then you can uninstall using Add/Remove programs.
