unusual websites appearing

I am not sure I am in the right place to ask this question. Forgive me if I am not. I have a problems with chinese websites continually coming up on my screen. I will even be offline and the computer will log on to bring up the website. What do I do to stop this?

Also, my virus checker has also picked up trogan and we vault them but each day AVG finds more. What is the best protection I can get for my computer?

After you have completed the required scans and produced the requested logs, start your own thread in the Malware Removal forum, making sure to post the HiJackThis log produced from the above instructions.
