V9.com Browser Hijacking

Yesterday I picked up some kind of browser hijacker that keeps directing my browser's (Firefox) homepage to V9.COM. At the same I time I get constant pop-ups for a Media player 12.3 or 12.7 upgrade.
I have Spybot S&D + Home Antivirus and it can't remove it.
Here is what I have done thus far:
Run full system scan and immunize (multiple times). Everything is up to date but when I immunize it keeps saying I have 31213 potential risks.
Removed and reinstalled Mozilla Firefox.

I can't find anything about this in the forums but I may be searching incorrectly. Any help is most appreciated.
