version 1.3 and/ 1.4

I am useing win xp pro on a compaq desk pro. I had version 1.3 after my tower was serviced. Tonight the s&d suddenly stopped working. It will NOT open from the desktop or anywhere else. Itried system restore, NO. The previous month in restore will NOT displat, I CANNOT pick an earlier date to try. I tried to install 1.4, which was succesfukk. I do NOT know which of the 3 versions it is. That does not open either. I am out of ideas. HELP!!!
 
Please have a look into the Spybot directory normally located at "c:\Program Files\Spybot - Search and Destroy"
Is there a file called SpybotSD.exe ?
