Hi, I'm a fairly good computer user and my friend use my laptop and now I have pop ups that I can't get rid of. I tried spy bot S&D and it didn't help that much, I still have pop ups but they don't navigate to any working page. There is a registry entry that keeps reoccurring , and svchost.exe is creating the entry so I can't track down the actual program using Regmon
I'm running windows server 2003 with IIS, 192.168.0.2 is my DHCP/router
C:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~3\ refers to my ActiveSync directory

Download and Run RSIT
  • Please download Random's System Information Tool by random/random from here and save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
  • Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
  • Once it has finished, two logs will open:
    • log.txt will be opened maximized.
    • info.txt will be opened minimized.
  • Please post the contents of both log.txt and info.txt.
