Weird Spyware, Malware or glitch

Not sure of where to post this, but my copy of Spybot Search and Destroy detected one registry change called, "Microsoft.WindowsSecurityCenter_disabled". I'm not completely sure if it's some sort of spyware, malware or just incompatibility with the security center itself.

Also, just wondering how to remove it in case it's one of the first two.

Thanks ^_^.

That detection indicates normally indicates that the Windows Security Center has been disabled. To check:
  • Go to Start > Run > type: services.msc > OK.
  • In the right pane, scroll down until you see Security Center.
  • Either right click on Security Center and choose Properties from the context menu or double click on it.
  • The Startup type is normally automatic.
  • Click Apply.
  • And the Services Status is normally Started.
Do you run Norton?

Yep and the computer person that I go to said that it (Norton) thought that Spybot was a virus.

I tend to think that Norton thought that Microsoft was and it disabled it, due to that.
