What to do when virus remains

Hi so this is another one where my friend gets the same fake av deal and no real av software can pick it up, I think I posted on this before but was having trouble searching for it. Any tips on how to get rid of this or where it might be? It's the one that says all of his files are corrupt. It is in safe mode now i'm scanning it again and also using a registry cleaner.

Please follow instructions in "BEFORE you POST" to produce a DDS log, start a new topic here in the malware removal forum and someone will advise you when available.

If DDS won't run start a new topic anyway and provide all details.
