to disable windows security center:
click start -> control panel -> performance and maintenance -> administrative tools -> services -> you will end up in service local, scroll down and look for "security center" -> right click and click properties -> change the start up type, choose disable.

oh men... i dont create this topic. my post is an answer to the guy who ask how to disable the security center.

wow he leaves me in the air. ^_^

i forgot his name..., but he said that some of his software conflicts with his windows security center and he wants to disable it. that's what i recalled.

:funny: That is some amazing story. Windows Security Center keeps track of three things (Firewall, Windows Updates, and Anti-Virus) and it serves as a monitoring tool, nothing more. I can't think of a reason why a software will conflict with it.

Um, well unless he was talking about Spybot's detections (WindowsSecurityCenter.Override...), then that's a different story.
