worm/autoit detected

I cannot access my pictures on my SD card or my San Disk pen drive. The files have been changed to .exe files and do not open when double clicked. I ran AVG Anti-Virus Free on both and it found that both contained the worm "worm/autoit.anve" I had the files moved to the virus vault, but how do I recover my pictures and how do I ensure that the rest of the computer is not infected?

Sorry to hear of the problem, if you would like someone to take a look at the system you can start a topic in the Malware Removal Forum and a volunteer analyst will advise when available.

First see that forum's FAQ which also includes instructions in post #2 on how to provide a preliminary DDS log, which is used for analysis.
