After deleting the items Spybot S&D finds, the same ones return each time I run Spybot. Is there a way to have them automatically removed when they show up?
Thanks,
cwtlr

Could you show the items Spybot is finding?
Run another scan. When the scan completes, right click on the results list, select "Copy results to clipboard".Then paste those results here.

I've run another scan, copied the results to the clipboard, but where is the "clipboard"? Is it in spybot or someplace else?

Hello,

Do you mean tracking cookies?
Which browser do you use? Firefox?

Immunization is primarily for Internet Explorer. You can block third-party (tracking) cookies from within Firefox. See the following article:
Why do other anti-spyware applications detect so many more tracking cookies?
http://www.safer-networking.org/inde...=faq&detail=37
However it appears that the blocking of third-party (tracking) cookies from within Firefox may not be 100% effective. See the last post in the following thread by Zenobia for a possible solution:

If you are running Windows 98, 98SE or ME a small counting bug in Spybot 1.4 immunization process may account for the five items not being immunized.

Hello,

Some users e-mailed us that they have experienced compatibility problems with the Internet Explorer 7 and Spybot - Search & Destroy.
In detail, there were problems with freezing/not responding of our software and also problems with the SDhelper of Spybot - Search & Destroy that won't work correctly.
Currently, we are working on this issue and try to find out what the problem might be.
We hope that we will solve this problem very soon.
There will be a new SDHelper.
Please be patient.

Further, you will find more infos and other users' experiences regarding this point in our forum:
