• Welcome Guest, to the Spybot Forums! It's 2025, and we just upgraded our forum software.

Today is Safer Internet Day, and with our new forum, you can finally use passkeys to login. That was about time!

Of course, you could ask if a forum is still useful, with so many social media networks out there where you might already have an account, and met a lot of users. You can now use your login from some of those networks to log in here. And by posting here, your question and data is stored on our servers and not automatically shared with a whole social media network.

We'll also start using the forum for small bits of information, announcements and more again.

Immunize will not complete

New member
Never had a problem until the last couple of updates...

When I immunize, it will only complete the process to ~90%, so what I am left with is : protected - 115806; total - 115999.

I deleted and then did a clean install of Spybot, but the problem still exists.

Choices?

Using Spybot 1.6.2.46 ; FireFox 3.5.3 ; XP Corp.

TY in advance

Immunization not complete

I have 193 cookies, 11366 installations, images etc. that keep showing up in Firefox as unprotected. If I run Immunize they show as protected, but will later show unprotected. W2K/AVG/SpywareBlaster. Firefox 3.5.3

Hello,

There seems to be a problem with immunizing FireFox 3.5. After FireFox has been opened new, the immunization is gone.

We are aware of this issue and have it already in our bugtracker.

For now you use this workaround:

1. Open Firefox 3.5, go to Tools | Options | Privacy | Settings.
There uncheck the checkbox for "Site Preferences".

2. Open Firefox 3.5, go to Tools | Clear Recent History... OR press Ctrl+Shift+Del.
There uncheck the checkbox for "Site Preferences".

For more informations please have a look at this link in our forum.

Best regards

The "Site Preferences" box is already unchecked.

Or do I go through and clear all the history including site preferences and then go back and uncheck this box?

Btw, is there any chance this effect my saved passwords for sites?

(I'm bit of a novice).

TY
