Hello, hope you're all doing well.
If possible I need a bit of help with a SpyBot occurrence.

Whenever and however I Run Immunization it always returns the identical number of unprotected items.
Here is the message "43497 of 190608 entries are already immunized, but 47111 are still unprotected!"
I'm on a Desktop running current release and updates of Windows 10 home edition and the current release and updates of Spybot.
But this has been happening for several prior releases of Spybot.
No matter how Immunization is run, 1st run check returns 47111 unprotected, run Immunization returns all protected, 2nd run Run Check again it returns 47111 unprotected, run Immunization returns all protected.

Is this an operator(me) error? Or a SpyBot issue?

Thanks for the help.
Ron

There's an entry about that on the Spybot FAQ page. It's titled "Why are some items still unprotected after performing Immunization?" on this page:

There a different reasons why an Immunization might fail. These are usually:

A path is not detected.
The object is blocked by something; e.g. another security program.
The user does not have appropriate rights to immunize an object.

It is necessary to run the immunization with elevated privileges (as an administrator), otherwise the global immunization will fail.

To ensure that Immunization is applied correctly, please disable all other security programs that you run and close all browsers and any other programs during the work with Spybot – Search & Destroy.

To Immunize your browser:

Open Spybot Start Center by right-clicking on the icon and choosing Run as Administrator.
Click on Immunize.
Click Check System, then click Apply Immunization.

Thanks, Zenobia.
That is a big help for me. I'm not a Techie just a user so this explained a lot about Immunization and what it is and does. I'll check Firefox and check it's settings.
Have a good week and a healthy and happy New Year's.
See ya
