Alexa Toolbar Authorization

How do I give the Alexa toolbar PERMISSION. I want the ALEXA Toolbar, and every time I down load it, and it won't work because S&D stops and reads it as syware. How do I give permission to or authorize Alexa Toolbar on my computer and Internet Explorer?
