Virus re-directing internet searches

Hi, I'm sorry to start a new thread, I couldn't find the HJT thread to post in.

My computer recently contracted a nasty little virus that not only re-directs all my Google searches, but has shut down the system restore and regedit. I saw on another forum that downloading a certain file (combofix?) could help, but even downloading has been blocked, this virus is quite nefarious. I could really use some help. Thank you

Please copy paste the HJT log into a new topic. If HJT won't run start a new topic anyway, make note of the situation and and a volunteer analyst will advise you when available.

An infection can do that but, Do NOT run 'FIXES' (ComboFix etc) without being asked
