Problem with Skype !

Hello,

When I use Skype, sometimes I do not see my online contacts. I tested it via another PC. It is suspicious to me because I got these unknown contacts requesting me from job company offering etc. But since I accepted a contact from someone who I actually thought was a distant friend and had on my contacts for sometime, I've begun to get suspicious about things. Is there anyway you guys can help me ?

Have you contacted Skype, they have community forums.

Go to options within Skype:

Go to Skype access and untick the box, "enable skype access".

Then go to privacy and make sure its set to only allow calls from your contact list. Go to alerts and messages and deselect all of them (the advertising ones). Deselect promotions too.
