Are the block lists kept clean of obsolete sites? I would think that once a spyware site is well known and it gets blacklisted everywhere it's taken down as it's no longer effective. Are such sites/domain ever removed from Spybot's block lists?
I wonder how many of the 7000+ entries are...
Any reason why TeaTimer does not monitor the Startup folders for the current user and All Users? It looks like applications can add themselves to the Startup folders and TeaTimer does not show an alert.
Why is SDHelper blocking ad sites now? No, I don't like ads either but sometimes blocking them breaks some sites (e.g. Yahoo Mail Beta).
Yes, the sites may use tracking cookies, but only the cookies should be blocked.
Please see the attached SDHelper.txt file. Is there a way to disable this...
If you have SDHelper configured to ask whether to deny/allow a URL and set it to remember the decision, it seems that the data is stored in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Excludes
Is there a UI to edit these files or the user is supposed to edit...
It seems that with TeaTimer 1.5.0.9 enabled with IE Resident protection enabled I am not able to get Yahoo Mail Beta to work. I get prompted by the resident if I want to allow/deny loading of some URLs which seem to be ad related, e.g. doubleclick.net, admt.net, etc.
If I disable TeaTimer and...

- ZA then unpacks the zip file and creates a bunch of temp...
I see 1.5.0.7 mentioned. I installed Spybot 1.5 beta on a new computer, I do have the option to check for beta versions checked, yet it doesn't detect any newer versions than 1.5.0.0
I happen to have 1.5.0.6 from an older install, but it seems the update process is broken:
- none of my...
On a multi-user XP Pro, TeaTimer 1.5.0.6 prompts for the Winlogon DefaultUsername change when 1 user logs out and another logs in. Why? Can't you just ignore this change, it's a legit change and there's no harm in always allowing this change.
Version 1.5.0.5 didn't do this and I was hoping it...
I upgraded to TeaTimer 1.5 beta (version 1.5.0.2) and I noticed the following:
1. It doesn't prompt when some applications try to add themselves to Startup. I noticed that Adobe Reader added itself and I was notified and didn't have a chance to block it. Is this because Adobe is a...
