New version and present version 1.6

Dumb question, but....
Can you still run the 1.6 version and download the new 2.0 version to study it, since the new version isn't 'Protecting now'. :confused:

If Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.6.2 is updated to the last version (especially the TeaTimer) and if the paranoid mode of TeaTimer is not enabled there should be no problems using the 2.0 Beta alongside the old 1.6.2.

This is the old way of monitoring by TeaTimer.
To return to the "old" way of monitoring right click on TeaTimer and change it to "Paranoid Mode".
This thread has more details on the new TeaTimer.
