AIK for Windows 7 ONLY?

I've completed the burning of a CD for the AIK restoration of my system. HOWEVER, it seems this "function" is only for Windows 7, NOT Windows XP which is my present system. Someone want to explain that. I'm now thinking I've wasted my time and money on a product that is of little use, should a disaster befall my system.

We have tested this and it should also work under XP.
Can you please describe what exactly does not work?
Do you get any error message?
