annoying pop up

i think i got the zlob trojan the other day but i just scanned with spybot and it didnt appear at all but the annoying pop up thing is still on my taskbar, how can i get rid of the zlob trojan if i still have it and how can i get rid of htat annoying pop up thing

i followed the steps in that thread but when i went to clean out my temp internet files my screen was not the same it had no option to delete offline content and under programs there was no reset settings thing

I assume that you're referring to step 6) in Smitfraud instructions.

You may do this instead:

Download ATF Cleaner by Atribune to your desktop.

Run ATF Cleaner

• Under Main choose: Select All
  Click the Empty Selected button.

If you use Firefox browser

• Click Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
  Click the Empty Selected button.
  NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.

If you use Opera browser

• Click Opera at the top and choose: Select All
  Click the Empty Selected button.
  NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.

Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Then continue with the instrcutions and post the logs to here :bigthumb:
