Antivirus XP 2008

I have run Spybot on my computer but the task did not finish. Now I cannot login to my computer at all. When I login I am automatically logged out again.
How can I get to my C: drive to run Spybot again? I'm trying to avoid formatting my HD.

what OS are you running?
spybot 1.6 with updated detections?

I'd suggest
run a scan in SAFE MODE and quarantine all hits
run an updated scan with your antivirus
quarantine to not remove/ delete
open a thread in the malware removal forum
be sure to read ALL the stickies before posting

post your log from spybot and your AV if any hits

Are you still being logged out?

Was the computer infected before installing Spybot-S&D and what other security programs are installed.
