Antivirus XP 2010--need help removing

Spybot S&D findings

Hello again. I got Spybot installed and ran it. It found 3 items to fix, including something called "Spywareinfo.TrafficZ"
I told it to fix the items and then ran it again. The other 2 items are gone, but the Spywareinfo.TrafficZ is still there.
Can you tell me anything about this?
 
The old domain for SpywareInfo was lost by the previous owners and they weren't able to renew it so the domain has now been taken over by dubious owners pushing malware. :sad:

Open IE and go to your Bookmarks and if you see any entries for Spywareinfo.TrafficZ , delete them.

If not, try running Spybot in Safemode and if it finds that entry let it remove it

To Enter Safemode
  • Go to Start> Shut off your Computer> Restart
  • As the computer starts to boot-up, Tap the F8 KEY somewhat rapidly,
    this will bring up a menu.
  • Use the Up and Down Arrow Keys to scroll up to Safemode
  • Then press the Enter Key on your Keyboard

I don't see it on your logs but are you by chance running Firefox ?
 
I ran Spybot in safe mode, but it still didn't eliminate the spywareinfo.TrafficZ.
I didn't see any IE bookmarks that seemed to be related; however, I do have Firefox on my computer, though I rarely use it, and I did find a bookmark to the spywareinfo site (must've been from years ago!) So I deleted all of the Firefox booksmarks and will run Spybot again tomorrow. Thanks again for your patience and help. And thank you for the link to the sister site; I will post my questions there about the system tray and slow bootup.
