[ask] spybot real time protection with ESS ?

After all years using spybot, I always hestitate to use spybot real time protection, because I already got Eset Smart Security which also has it's own real time protection

According to my knowledge, more than 1 real time protection in the background would never bring any good

Can someone enlight me in this matter ?

Actually, that may be true, however Spybot-Search&Destroy's Resident Shield (TeaTimer) is not like modern real-time protection (such as your anti-virus program will prompt you if you should open a malicious file by accident). It is unique because it is more like a monitoring feature.

TeaTimer will prompt you of a important registry change (such as addition of BHOs, changed homepage, new addition to the Startup Manager, Active X, and etc.).

To sum it up, there should be no problems with TeaTimer and Eset NOD32.
