Banners Don't Work - adware, malware or what - Firefox

Hi All!

I was wondering about a seemingly new problem with my normal browser....

Every time I try to log into a site, this stupid pop-up from "Banners Don't Work" pops up with a new offer I don't want. Is there a way (or more than one way) to skin this cat?

As far as I know, no. I've also disabled or eliminated all extensions I'm not sure I needed. I temporarily switched to IE10 because the problem does not occur there.

Someone can take a look at the system if you start a topic in the Malware Removal Forum where a volunteer analyst will advise when available.

If you decide to ask for advice there first see that forum's FAQ which also includes instructions in post #2 on how to provide DDS and aswMBR logs, which are used in the preliminary analysis.
