Blank Screen After Using SpyBot

After using SpyBot, I restarted my Vista driven laptop and now after putting in my password I get the windows icon in the middle of the screen and then it goes to a blue screen. The only way I have found to get anywhere is to ctrl-alt-delete to start task manager. Did I do something wrong?

It is not "the" blue screen. Maybe need to "restore" the desktop. It has nothing on the screen, not even the start button.

Fixed the issue myself. typed "explorer" in new task and viola!
