Cannot find what's controlling my Internet Explorer

My PC-cillin says that:

C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\javapi\v1.0\jar

and 2 others with the same location (?) that it was not able to quarantine.
I am getting IE popups all the time, but only if my browser (I use Firefox) is open.

Another question. If I can't run a scan with PC-cillin in safe mode, how do I get objects like these quarantined?

Should I run a scan for you? How do I do that?
