Cannot start Spybot S&D

It seems to be running much better, I will monitor it over the next few days and post something back if it starts acting up again.

I am still having the issue with it making a click noise (much like when a link is clicked on or a windows explorer window is opened) whenever the system is left untouched for a while (for example when watching a movie or streaming media). Any idea what could be causing this - this is what raised my initial concerns about the system being infected?
 
Not sure but at least not infection.

Yeah, Avast is still finding a WIN32.TROJAN when doing a startup scan, it doesn't find it when doing a normal scan in windows though... :/
