Can't close Spybot,Help Please

After downloading updates & immunising i can't get Spybot to close,if i use ctr alt del i get error message telling me to report to microsoft or contact Spy bot .Any help please

first of all, what kind of computer are you using (specify cpu type, amount of RAM installed and what programs, other than spybot, you have installed on your computer). also please tell us what version of Windows you have installed on your computer so we can help you further.

and can you tell us exactly how this problem happened? i mean, were there any other programs that were running when this problem occured.

Perhaps this can happen, if you run the computer without shutting down.
After a few hours or even days Spybot freezes without the possibility to shut down.
Closing the system down completely should resolve the issue.
