cant get into safe mode

I need to run spybot in safe mode but every time I hit F8 I get a blue screen with the heading Boot Mode. It lists underneath: Hard disk, Nec dvd rw nd-2510a and realtek boot agent. I just don't know how to go about this.

My computer is full of bugs. spybot has found: Advertising.com, Avenue A,Inc,double click,media plex,, trade doubler & Zedo.

I did try to do a system restore but it wont let me go back in time.

My problems seemed to start when I started to receive bulk spam which it said I had sent in the first place! There is one email I receive every day from one source. Its Royal casino. I started blocking it through Norton, but now as soon as I block it, It changes its name slightly.
I do need to post a log in the malware forum. I have ran the online etrust web scanner & no virus was found.
I just need to get into safe mode.
I would appreciate any help & advice you could give me,

Hello.

Sorry to hear of the problems, did you see this sticky topic "BEFORE you POST" in the Malware Removal Forum

If for some reason you cannot run the Spybot or Anti Virus scans, please go ahead and post the HJT log along with a note that you couldn't follow all the steps.

Please do not try to do a system restore unless suggested by a helper, once the machine is cleaned up.
