When i try to install spybot, half way through it just closes. I think it might be some kind of virus doing it as i've had quite a few. Is there anything i can do?

You could try saving the Spybot installation file to somewhere on your computer,then installing Spybot from safe mode.

If you're using Internet Explorer,click Save after you click the Download Here button.Then boot to safe mode(make sure you choose just safe mode,not safe mode with networking),and doubleclick the Spybot installation file you saved before. http://www.computerhope.com/issues/chsafe.htm
If you still aren't able to install Spybot that way,or if you are able to install Spybot but still continue to have problems after you run it,you might want to ask for help in the Malware Removal forum,since you think it may be a virus/malware causing you to be unable to install Spybot.
