What is detecting these CoolWWWSearch.leftovers?

Please do an online scan with Kaspersky WebScanner

Click on Kaspersky Online Scanner

You will be promted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.

• The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
• Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
  
• Now click on Scan Settings
• In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
  • Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
  • Extended (if available otherwise Standard)
  • Scan Options:
  • Scan Archives
    Scan Mail Bases
• Click OK
• Now under select a target to scan:
  • Select My Computer
• This will program will start and scan your system.
• The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
• Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
  • Now click on the Save as Text button:
• Save the file to your desktop.
• Copy and paste that information in your next post.

Used Spybot in Safe Mode - deleted file coolwwwsearch.leftovers

I hope this will solve winlogon.exe issue, (so far it has) and hopefully I won't get it again as I have removed Microsoft Java and replaced it with Sun.
I also have activated teatimer, although it stuffs up my fax driver....

What was wrong with winlogon.exe?

Go to virustotal.com
Copy the following to the box next to "Browse" button:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe
Click on Send
Wait for the scan to end.

Hi there,
did a scan and there's no problem with my winlogon.

It's just that coolWWWsearch.leftovers messes with winlogon. Now that I got rid of it, I don't get that message that says:
winlogon.exe has encountered a problem and needed to close on startup.

what is ctfmon32.exe for? (ctfmon.exe)
It always shows up in Spybot System startup. I keep deselecting and it repeatedly selects itself. The description next to it says:
coolwebsearch -parasite related-hijacking to Slawsearch.com

Not required, virus,spyware, malware etc

did a virustotal scan with that too- all is ok. - not a virus
