Wow. Are you sure 129260? Last checked it was April 22nd.
Same goes for Vista. I'm not really a big fan of paying for products, unless I see them directly in the retail store. I'm not really fond of paying via credit card or PayPal.

I think zonealarm updates automatticaly now

because you are right, i saw no log of an update ether on the net, but the update service from zonealarm was running for a bit. Look like it updated something haha, and well, it passed all of shields up! tests, so i am happy. :)

And i guess that true, if he is subscribed to the thread, i guess it wont be deleted. =] didn't think of that!
 
Eh. What I didn't like about ZA Pro was that it screwed up my Internet Connection. It logged WinPatrol as a keylogger -.-

129260, I'll give you this advice. Trust me on it. What is significant about Comodo Pro and ZA Pro is that HIP. Defense+ in Comodo and (I forgot what they call the HIP in ZA Pro). Basically they're the same thing. I don't require Parental Controls nor Spam filtering. However, if you want to buy it go ahead.

Btw, on ZA Free's main tab check the second tab. This tells Registration and the current version.

Oh, btw, 129260, have you checked the program details yet? Second tab of main menu.

I think you got me wrong. I was talking about the post in Tavern section not in the Test section. Copying does not work for me as I may forget to open or something. Hence I think that the thread will be there as long as there is activity?

@chewd, of course. Even if you are inactive for say half a year, you will still be able to continue this thread, regardless of activity from me or 129260.

hmmm.....odd........then why dont i have it? i told zonelarm to update but it still says i have that version......weird....it says I'm up to date.........
 
Looks like you'll have to apply it manually. I remember that ZA Free was stuck at 470, and there were no further updates.

When there is a new update, ZA will prompt you and will redirect you to the link.

ya but i hit check for updates and za said it was up to date.............weirdness, so i should go to the zonealarm page and download zonealarm free again? it should automatically detect i have za on my system and update it......right? lol
 
129260, this is a matter of National Security!

Just kidding. I would suggest you uninstall and reinstall ZoneAlarm. I may sound tedious but it will upgrade your ZA version. I had the same problem being stuck at 470. Download the 160kb installer and it'll install the 35MB firewall.

Ew. I tried Spyware Doctor 6. :P And it was... like Norton bad. Full scan found nothing with a 2 hour scan. Took up 300MB of space and required reboot to fully uninstall itself. The Smart Update gave me language updates for internation languages which I don't even speak.

I think i am good now!! =] It updated lol too, right after i installed the new version, i clicked check for updates on it, and it did a update. So ya, guess i am good now! :)

no i never have played any sims game, i really was never interested in them. =] You can find my gamespot profile by typing gamespot 129260 in google and you can see what games i like. =]
