Do you have Vista Transformation Pack installed?

No sir i wouldn't put that crap on my xp pro sp2 os. I'm only using winzip app in the background so SnagIt will focus on a region area for snapshot. This is a 32bit os xp pro and teatime has throw up a lots of errors and refuse to shutdown and the ResHack has not been applied yet.

Missing buttons in TeaTimer registry change notification:

Please see the following thread:

To the first comment would be a no i'm not using a vista pack and i open up full access to zone alarm pro firewall for the needed updates but I still receiving the same error. Right now i'm checking the other comment, this section will be updated later on today.

Zonealarm pro sometime will refuse to load up web components to get around this type of problem i'll shut down my DSL pro modem and try the update app again offline. This usually will wakeup ZoneAlarm pro app to load up those needed web components.

Do you have something called "Windows XP Unofficial TheHotfix.net Pack" (Formerly SP3 Preview Pack) installed?I saw something about that and the Spybot 'cannot open avi error',so thought I'd ask.

The AVI stuff is something I also noticed using Wine. On standard Windows, it can happen when some application installer does overwrite a system DLL with a Windows 95 or older (Win32s) one (like those old VB app installers that just installed every DLL without ever checking if newer ones are actually installed - that's why I do NEVER install apps that have the standard VB installer)... now if I would just remember which DLL was responsible for this...

Where can I go to download vbrun files from? That at ver vb600 right?

It's not about the vbrun files; that VB apps install those is ok. It's more that some VB installer do overwrite other system files. Could be comctl32.dll, comdlg32.dll or some of those files imho (am not at a work computer today, so I can't look this up); there are standard Windows animations available on any up-to-date Windows (including 95) in one of these files, and this file may be overwritten by an older version (btw you'll notice this when trying to run Spybot on Wine as well, since the libraries coded for Wine do not include those as well).
