Kaspersky good or bad?

It was kind of ironic using Kaspersky to help in this clutter/mess.
I have been using their 30 day free Internet Security version for a couple weeks now.
Have always used Norton/symantec, but heard it really slows puter down, that Kaspersky is much better.
Got rid of all the Norton stuff
Thinking about using Kaspersky after trial period ends,

What antivirus/internet security type stuff do you reccommend? Why?

Look at the links I provided in my post #7, those experts suggest the best. I personally will suggest only freeware and they cover that.
